Well, I've been playing around with the images I have and tried to create an image to submit for the competiton. Here is the first, but I definately won't submit this one. It's more a joke :) Image A Image B Image C Image D
Despite my nephews 15th Birthday HAPPY BIRTHDAY Florian (Curles in the center) and his little garden party, I had the chance to work alot on the Kazushaaah.
First I completed the look-out with his special binoculars
Then came the Goldtoof with the machine-telegraph
Then came Rambooh and his little toy
The little Grot on the pole came next
Next to last was the assistant gunner - handeling elevation of the launcher
And the final crew member was the Mek Skoottie
Added some oil and grime to make him extra dirty
I think he fits nicely into his working environment
And then it was time to mount the bombs
Spent some extra effort on the rocket exhaust
Next update will then be the final images and competition collage.
Well not quite with one stroke, but at least in on evening.
First I completed the mascott Ha(w)king...hmm, I think I need a better name... A close-up of the SM helmet I really, really like how the pose turned out.
On with the (flying) Dutchmaan
Some positioning...
And then there was time for Klang-Klang, the pianomaan
And the first four members of the crew in their final position
Over the last few days I slowly added details to most characters. First is Stalin, now ready to take the first bath in a bronw dipping.
Next was Haking, the little mascott
Pompous little prat :)
Then mek Bikwrench was ready for the dipping.
notice the tattoo "MOM" - Masta o' Meks"
Assistant gunner (who's elevating the launcher)
Then I started adding damage to the vehicle
Then I experimened with pastels as pigments for rust and dust
Nice and dirty
Driving through teh Dencara desert creates quite some dust
I wonder if there's a car wash big enough for it :)
And I worked on the launching bombs exhaust flames
I think this will look nice in the final position
:-)
Dutchmaan after his second bath in brown
And Ramboo
That's it :)

As you can see, the rest of the crew also received their camos. not much to see so far, but they'll turn out nice ;-) Then more details, like the steampunk scales
and navigation display
Several scales for the engine together with even more grime.
Then I did some highlighting to the colored panels.
